<p><strong>Proper Nouns :</strong> Wording must be in proper format to make better impact.</p>
<p><strong>Reiteration :</strong> A preposterous claim becomes believable, merely by making it a number of times, even without adding any further evidence or explanation.</p>
<p><strong>Local Connection :</strong> We are more inclined to believe advertising that tells us how happy the locals are with a product, and want to buy that brand for no other good reason. Nobody knows quite why, but we trust proximity. If we hear our neighbors have bought something, it means more to us than it should.</p>
<p><strong>Testimonials :</strong> Some things never go out of style, and the testimonial is one of those things. They shouldn’t be edited, and should include as many details of the giver as possible. A well-worded one from an obscure person is often worth more than one from someone famous. To be most effective, a testimonial should site specific results. It’s not enough that a customer say that they are happy with your service, or that they feel they got their money’s worth</p>
<p>Sometimes it even makes sense to add some kind of a credibility element in the pre-head (sub-headline in smaller font above the main headline) at the very beginning of the copy.</p>

So, I did some homework on this tool, and copy pasting some tips from article that David Pogue published in NY Times. (Pogue is a column writer for NY Times&#8217; weekly Circuits e-magazine.) 1.	Download and install the Google toolbar. Not only does it put the Google search box into your browser full-time, but it also blocks pop-up ads and fills in forms for you.<br />

2.	Phrase your question in the form of an answer. So instead of typing, What is the average rainfall in the Amazon basin, you might get better results by typing The average rainfall in the Amazon basin is.<br />
3.	This is an old one, but very important Put quotes around phrases that must be searched together.<br />
4.	Similarly, put a hyphen right before any word you want screened out. If you&#8217;re looking up dolphins, for example, you&#8217;ll have to wade through a million Miami Dolphins pages unless you search for dolphins -Miami.<br />
5.	Google is a global White Pages and Yellow Pages.<br />
6.	Google is a package tracker. Type a FedEx or UPS package number (just the digits); when you click Search, Google offers a link to its tracking information.<br />
7.	Google is a calculator. Type in an equation (32+23453-234=).<br />
8.	Google is a units-of-measurement converter. Type teaspoons in a gallon, for example, or centimeters in a foot.</p>

Over last few months I have been facing this same problem. I browsed the web for answers, even went ahead and bought many books on Website Optimization. All of them more or less targeted the same issue of caching static contents using additional third party tools which improvises upon browser caching thus getting better performance and all that sort of stuff.

<p><strong><br />
Analyzing the Website Performance</strong></p>
<p>
There were enough options to start that made me crazy as to which one to go ahead with, I wanted things to be under my control rather than adding complexities. For this I needed information as to what actually is traveling between my web server and web browser. I added loggers in my code to note the timestamps at server, even timed by database queries.</p>
<p><span id="more-32"></span></p>
<p>
All I wanted to know was what actually was being downloaded by the client. In this situation one tool finally came to my rescue. That was  <a href="http://developer.yahoo.com/yslow/">Yahoo YSlow</a>. It helped in finding:</p>
<p>    * The contents of the response object which gave a picture of images, scripts, and style sheets that were being downloaded from the server.<br />
    * The content size and time taken to download each of them.</p>
<p>Using this tool I came to know that the gzip feature to compress the html pages was not working. I even found some old images hidden in Java script which where never being displayed but where getting unnecessarily downloaded.
</p>
<p><strong>Improving the Website Performance</strong></p>
<p>
With the above analysis, I managed to fix the performance of my web site. These are two things which I would suggest you to try out in order to improve your web site performance.
</p>
<p>
1. <strong>Minifying JavaScript and CSS files</strong></p>
<p>An important step in improving the load speed of a website is to reduce the download time taken by JavaScript and CSS files. In my case, the attention was focused to minify these files. It helps to boost the website performance.</p>
<p>You can check the source code of Google homepage to see they how the JavaScript, HTML file and style sheets are being minified to the best possible way. The loading time for a Google page itself reveals the advantage of using this technique.
</p>
<p>
2. <strong>Combining small images into ONE image</strong></p>
<p>Combine small icons into a single image and use image map to display the section of the image. This feature is being used by many websites for improving performance since a single request is much faster than making 10 individual requests.
</p>
<p>Fixing these simple issues improved my website performance by <strong>13-15%</strong> without actually spending money on increasing bandwidth or taking any extra efforts. However I would like to know if there are any other steps which might help further in improving a site performance.</p>

Its simple to co relate the !important property as a final variable in java. Sometimes you do not your styles to be overridden by other designers either through javascript or inline style. The !important property is the thing which would help in this case.</p>

What they fail to see is the fact that the number of users that are going to be directed to their blog from the various search engines is directly proportional to the amount of consideration they have given SEO. Also if you want to cash in on another related program via your blog then SEO becomes even more crucial for you. Why this has not yet been incorporated into blogs yet I fail to see as the most appealing part about the whole thing is the fact that it’s free and the benefits are multifold.</p>
<p>Basically what you need to consider is strategic keyword placement and also make sure that the keywords are repeated, maybe you can make use of some kind of keyword management tools that are easily available online. Another important thing that needs to be considered is the fact that whatever content you write has to have some amount of quality and the best way to keep that up without forgetting about SEO is by keeping your writing simple. If you don’t think it’s worth the effort considering SEO while writing for your blog then the answer is simple as there are a whole load of writers out there whose articles do not get read even if what they have written is fantastic. This meta tag is known to work for all major search engines including Google, Yahoo, MSN and Ask.com. It is also known that “noarchive” meta tag does NOT affect your search engine rankings or indexing, but only determines whether or not search engines will cache the crawled content.<br />
The “noarchive” metatag can be used when a website publisher charges a fee for access to its content, and thus want to prevent content theft, but still would like the content to be indexed and ranked by search engines. Also it’s useful when the content changes frequently, and it’s not desirable to keep the outdated stale content cached by search engines for human access.<br />
To prevent all search engines from showing a &#8220;Cached&#8221; link for your site, place this tag in the &lt;HEAD&gt; section of your page:<br />

<p><strong>Xerox </strong>- The inventor, Chestor Carlson, named his product trying to say &#8216;dry&#8217; (as<br />
it was dry copying, markedly different from the then prevailing wet copying).<br />
The Greek root &#8216;xer&#8217; means dry.</p>
<p><strong>Yahoo! </strong>- the word was invented by Jonathan Swift and used in his book &#8216;Gulliver&#8217;s<br />
Travels&#8217;. It represents a person who is repulsive in appearance and action and is<br />
barely human. Yahoo! founders Jerry Yang and David Filo selected the name<br />
because they considered themselves yahoos</p>
